Donald E. Knapp, Jr.

Managing Partner & Founder

Donald E. Knapp, Jr. built his career on a simple belief: people deserve a lawyer who listens, explains every step clearly, and shows up prepared. For more than twenty years, he has guided clients across the Delta and the Mid-South through injury claims, estate planning, business disputes, real estate matters, and financial challenges. His approach is steady and human-first—grounded in respect for the people he serves and the communities that shaped him.

Donald is licensed in seven states—Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, North Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.—and admitted to practice before numerous federal courts, including the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit, multiple U.S. District Courts, and U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in several jurisdictions. His experience includes significant appellate work, including representation before the Eighth Circuit in Harry Stephens Farms v. Wormald, et al.

He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, William H. Bowen School of Law. His academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Alabama and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from Delta State University. He holds CompTIA A+ certification, which reflects his interest in technology and the role it plays in organized, efficient legal work.

Clients often appreciate that Donald understands life’s pressures beyond the law. He stays active through running, swimming, and biking, and he enjoys traveling whenever time allows. He is also a private pilot and advanced open water diver, hobbies that require the same focus, preparation, and attention to detail that shape his legal work.

Through every case and every conversation, Donald starts the same way: he listens closely, explains your options in plain language, and maps a plan you can trust. He believes people deserve clarity, not confusion, and that steady preparation—not showmanship—protects clients when it counts.
